Rural areas in ecological-transition policies
Do European and national ecological-transition policies really take into account the needs and reality of rural areas?
Postgrowth S.A.: Rural is the ongoing action of the series, during the 2026-2027 school year. It is a co-creative citizen science initiative that collectively assesses the rural impact of nature-conservation and ecological-transition policies, both European and national. With the participation of secondary-school students and teachers, it investigates whether those policies take into account the needs and reality of rural areas and gathers the knowledge and priorities of the people who live there. It is coordinated by the Post-Growth Innovation Lab at the Universidade de Vigo, as part of the Post-Growth Citizen Science Network of Galicia.
